Reading, UK: Salary up to £48k

Flame Pharma is working alongside a leading Site Management Organisation to appoint a Business Development Executive to join their dynamic and Innovative team in their modern, well equipped facilities in Reading. This new and exciting opportunity will enable this rapidly expanding global organisation that pride themselves on representing the future of clinical Trials, to maintain their reputation for providing high quality and reliability. The Role:

The Business Development Executive will perform field promotional responsibilities to develop and sell new business. This will include initiation and retention of relationships with client companies, development of new territories, new industries and/or new customers. They will expand market opportunities according to the company’s strategic business plan whilst they will be responsible for the development of new accounts, typically smaller to medium sized companies, initiate and maintain positive, productive client relationships and profitable sales results & demonstrate product and/or services according to client specifications. The successful candidate will coordinates technical support to determine client needs, respond to inquiries, and resolve problems, prepare or assist in the preparation of price quotations, terms of sale, service/delivery dates according to company policy and within guidelines & interact with internal and external personnel on projects that often require coordination and collaboration of associates and clients.

The Person:

To be considered for this role candidates must be a business development executive with direct industry experience of selling the service of a CRO/Pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with direct industry successful sales experience. They should have a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards in the CRO industry and must be able to understand, organise and supervise staff to work concurrently on several projects, each with specific requirements that may differ from project to project.
