The Role:

As a Microbiologist the successful candidate will be responsible for Raw material and product chemical, Bioburden and Endotoxin testing. They will perform environmental monitoring including documenting and trending results and will also be involved with supporting media fill/aseptic processing validation whilst ensuring that laboratory practices and documentation meet the current requirements of GMP/GLP.

In addition the Microbiologist will prepare and maintain microbiology and chemistry methods, specifications and SOP’s in compliance to pharmacopoeial and regulatory requirements.

The Person:

Applicants must possess a Science Qualification (Microbiology or Industrial Biology/Biochemistry /Biological Science would be preferred) together with proven industrial experience (GMP regulated environment preferable). They must have excellent written and oral communication skills and a good level of technical and analytical expertise to assist in problem solving.
