Job Summary

Salary up to £50k

Flame Pharma is working alongside a global clinical research organisation providing the full range of early– to late–stage clinical development services for the world’s biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical & medical device industry. As the Clinical Project Manager you will be responsible for customer satisfaction & lead the project team members and achieve overall financial goals (repeat business, revenue and profitability). You will ensure the final and interim project deliverables meet the Customer’s time/quality/cost expectations, provide leadership, co-ordination and management of the Client-Customer joint project team through start up, conduct, tracking, quality and regulatory compliance management and close out activities & complete and monitor accurate hours forecasts, review pass-through and ensure timely invoicing.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Project Management you will be assigned projects to be conducted globally, internationally or nationally. Where the project is conducted globally, it is not anticipated that you will take the overall project lead but there will be certain instances where the lead role will be assigned to you. In all cases, you will be responsible for the regional conduct of the project. With full support from Franchise Director or Associate Director you will plan and implement to achieve anticipated and unexpected project deliverables, you will analyse and oversee cost, personnel hours and project needs to determine the most cost effective and efficient means to run and complete projects successfully on time, to the agreed quality standards and within budget while meeting the Customer’s needs and adhering to the contract. In this role you will delegate the assigned responsibilities to project team members & have regular and proactive liaison with Department Heads to optimise performance and utilisation of the project team members. You will anticipate potential issues and escalate appropriately/pro-actively to their Franchise Director /Associate Director and act as primary contact with Customer throughout study up to delivery of final project product(s).

The Person

You will be a Clinical Project Manager with industry knowledge of of SOPs, WPDs and ICH, European and FDA GCP guidelines and Directives as standard, with a thorough understanding and appreciation of clinical research/development, including medical and therapeutic areas, phases and medical terminology & evidence of budgeting and forecasting in previous position. You will have proficient knowledge of medical/therapeutic areas and medical terminology & experience of leading cross-functional project teams with the ability to liaise and co-ordinate with other Departments where necessary (ie. Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs/PVG, etc).
