Warsaw, Poland: £35,000-£45,000 

Flame Pharma is working alongside one of the worlds leading CRO’s whose focus is on developing innovative solutions that reduce cycle times for their customers and accelerate the delivery of life-enhancing drugs to market for the benefit of patients worldwide. Together we are recruiting a Clinical Project Leader who will be responsible for managing multiple Phase I though to Phase IV Clinical Trials across multi functional areas. With a portfolio of clinical trials covering over 20 therapeutic areas, and having being involved in some of the largest clinical studies across the globe, our client therefore certainly has the global scope and challenge for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

As Project Manager, the successful candidate will

• Manage one or more full-service, multi-national and/or domestic projects, from proposal development to final deliverables to the customer.
• Coordinate project organisation, implementation and management activities
• Serve as the primary client contact at the project operational level.
• Direct the preparation and maintenance of the Project Plan (including timelines) and monitors against projected progress; ensures project activity compliance with plan. 
• Develop and implements alternative solutions to problems with study timelines, schedules, resources, budgets, etc. for the projects for which he/she is accountable.
• Assess resource needs for multi-national and/or local trials and monitor ongoing resource needs for such assigned projects.
• Assure the development of Project Specific Operating Procedures (PSOPs) by functional area, as necessary.
• Evaluate and manages project budget against project milestones to ultimately ensure project profitability.
• Take corrective measures where necessary to keep project in line with budget and profit expectations.
• Prepare and present study material at client meetings and effectively communicate outcomes to project team. 
• Report study progress, issues and scope of work considerations for assigned projects to manager.

The Person:

Candidates must be qualified to degree level or the equivalent. They must possess adequate clinical research project management experience in conducting multi-national and/or local clinical trials, with a knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements/ guidelines (i.e. CFRs, ICH GCPs, etc.) and a clear understanding of the overall drug development process, including experience in Phase IV, mandatory. The successful Project Leader must have both an excellent command of the English language and be proficient in the use of computer and software systems.They may also be required to travel domestically as well as internationally thus a flexible working attitude is essential whilst strong leadership skills are expected with the ability to develop organise and manage multiple tasks.
